Queensland Government extends the Building Boost Grant

Good news for those home owners and investors wanting to build a new home in Queensland! The Queensland Government has extended the availability of the Queensland Building Boost Grant to 30 April 2012.

The $10,000 grant is available to both home owners and investors who enter into a contract to buy or build a new home between 1 August 2011 and 30 April 2012.

There are eligibility requirements, but once those are met, you can put it towards anything to help you build your home. It doesn't even have to be your first home, but if it is, you are also eligible for the $7,000 first home owners grant.
